I am starting the Ashling Mage's Guild open to all arcane spellcasters of all schools. The primary purpose of this Guild will be to share spells with one another so that we may all benefit. If you are interested in joining, simply reply with character name and whatever spells you know, example below:
Aurix: Heal wound, Logic strike, Logic detect
-Magus Aurix of Ashling
P.S. (Dori): If we could get details of each listed spell, or preferably a compiled list with details (I can compile it if I get the details) that would be great!

out of character:
You do know that those mages who are already members of various mage guilds may not be so forthcoming with their secrets, right?
Not to discourage you though. I might be wrong, and and they'd be willing to share their secrets!

OOC:
I am aware, I am hoping that other mages understand that when we work together, we will all benefit.

I believe a better term than Guild should be used. Guilded mages take oaths to up hold their traditions and their secrets, If you wish to make a Library for mages or the like, that would be appropriate. ~Elder Mage of the Sacred Dance

Guild may be the inappropriate term, but that does not change the goal I am trying to reach. I am trying to set up a network of mages who share their knowledge of the art with each other with the goal of being mutually beneficial. I do not ask for secrets or you to give up your traditions, but whatever knowledge you are willing to share will be much appreciated. Once we get up and running, we can discuss a name, and library certainly sounds reasonable given the intention.

That is much appreciated Elder. Unfortunately I am not trained in the art of wordplay. Most of what I know about language came from my time as a sailor, so I am not as articulate as scholars, nobles, or others trained in the use of words.

I am not a mage myself, but I like the sound of this guild. It seems there is no good reason for Mages not to share their magic, unless some members are untrustworthy. Ahem. I would quote my favorite proverb, but the founder of this new guild did prove to be a trustworthy guard at the King's banquet, so I will hold back for now.

Due to missing each other at the inn over the past few months, this has not really taken off. I was wondering if we could arrange to meet in the near future to discuss this and start to form the library.
